Overview
DesDen Tours & Safaris provides travel planning, safari packages and tour services. Because tours are time-bound services rather than physical products, cancellations, refunds and changes depend on the confirmed booking terms, supplier rules, permit conditions and notice period for the specific itinerary.
Deposits and confirmed services
Once a booking is confirmed, part or all of the deposit may be used to secure accommodation, transport, park entries, permits, domestic flights, activities and supplier reservations. These costs may become non-refundable immediately or according to each supplier’s rules.
Cancellations and refunds
Refund eligibility is reviewed against the confirmed itinerary, invoice, payment schedule and cancellation terms shared before booking. Park fees, gorilla permits, chimpanzee permits, climbing permits, domestic flights, accommodation deposits and third-party supplier costs may be non-refundable once confirmed.
If a refund is approved, it will be processed through the agreed payment method where possible. Bank charges, card fees, mobile money costs, currency conversion differences and transfer fees may be deducted by payment providers or banks.
Changes to a confirmed tour
We will try to assist with date changes, accommodation changes, route adjustments or traveler substitutions where suppliers and park authorities allow them. Any price difference, amendment fee or non-refundable supplier charge will be communicated before changes are finalized.
No-shows and unused services
No-shows, late arrivals, missed transfers, unused accommodation nights, unused activities or voluntarily shortened trips are normally non-refundable unless a supplier provides a refund or credit.
Travel insurance
Comprehensive travel insurance is strongly recommended. Your policy should cover cancellation, medical care, emergency evacuation, trip interruption, delays, baggage loss and other unexpected events.
No physical returns
DesDen Tours & Safaris does not sell physical goods through this website, so physical product returns do not apply.
